 If you read our articles, you noticed that teach you how to build a business of integrity.  We teach you lots of different ways to improve your credibility and get referrals.  What you may not have noticed is that there is a primary path, a logical sequence:

STEP  1. Embrace a proactive communication strategy
STEP  2. Build your likeability
STEP  3. Build your credibility
STEP  4. Focus on building (non-sales) value with clients
STEP  5. Teach clients how to talk about you

Can you see the logic in the sequence?  If you follow it, you'll see several things happen:

1. Shorten your sales cycle
2. Increase the size of accounts
3. See clients become more loyal
4. Get more referrals

What to do now
If you want to get those things, you have to start immediately to think and take action on the first list.  Take action on the first item in order to make the second item possible.  So, please start right now to implement a proactive communication strategy.  That will help you tremendously to build your likeability.  Make it easy for people to like you by being proactive about reaching out to them.  When you become more likeable, they will spend more time with you, so you can demonstrate your credibility.  See how it works?
